Greer Amplifiers are tough...real tough. Tougher than a one eared alley cat. We believe that an amp should be as road worthy as it is toneful. As a result of this belief, we only select what we feel are the most dependable and best sounding components to go in our amps. Each amplifier features custom spec transformer sets wound by Mercury Magnetics, and Heyboer. Heavy duty vintage style turret boards are also used. All amps feature custom designed, laser etched faceplates, name badges, and backplates. Each amp features unique and original circuits, that tip thier hat to the tube designs of yesteryear.
Mallory 150 capacitors are used throughout, as well as 1 watt carbon film resistors, except in the power supply. Power supply uses only high quality, high wattage resistors. All wire, solid core and stranded, is custom sourced. All amp and speaker cabinets feature 3/4" baltic birch or pine finger-jointed construction. Amp coverings are executed perfectly and are offered in a variety of custom color combinations. Greer amps all ship with the preferred tube compliment for any given amp. Each amp is throughly checked before leaving the shop to ensure the highest level of quality.
When you plug into a Greer amp you will appreciate the organic sounds they produce, as well as the way they interact with you, the player. There is just something magical about pure tube tone that can't be explained, but only felt. With a variety of models to choose from, we feel we have something to offer that will satisfy even the most discerning players tonal palette. All Greer Amplifiers come with a limited 5 year warranty on each amp that covers any fault in workmanship, extended to original purchaser only. Tubes are covered for 90 days from original purchase only.
