The Rev50 is a 50 watt roaring beast! Big, fat, and loud it's Live at Leeds meets the Albert Hall! A killer classic rock amp, it gives you a great loud range of cleans to overdrive. The amp's knob layout features Volume, Treble, and Bass. The amp's sound had been compared to that of Hiwatt meets a Marshall. Featuring Mercury Magnetics transformers, this amp comes to life and conveys the true sound of the player's notes. The Rev50 features a tube compliment steeped in classic rock. One 5AR4 rectifier, two EL34 power tubes, and three 12AX7's. The controls work beautifully throughout their total range and there is not a bad setting on the amp! The treble and bass controls have an almost active type feel to them. With treble and bass set all the way down the amp has a rather even sound to it, turn them up and the gain increases in their respective frequency range. You can overdrive one and keep the other mildly clean. Not an amp for the faint of heart, this amp will blow your socks off! Set this animal on top of a 4x12 cabinet and get ready to rock!
